Teaching for Visual Literacy

Interesting article on english teachers who use films as a tool instead of just reading books. They find it important to not just read books, but also to watch movies as they provide a different avenue for learning. In the article, they provide useful tips for breaking down films in the classroom. It also includes a good list of films about young adults.
